A seasoned marketing and international student recruitment expert, I bring over 20 years of experience in leading and managing diverse teams, developing strategic marketing initiatives, and enhancing institutional profiles across multiple global regions. My qualifications in education and training, combined with extensive experience in teaching, education management, trans-national education, student recruitment, and international sales and marketing, have honed my strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as my relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, I developed an early passion for travel, education and marketing. After earning a degree in Adult Education, I embarked on a career that has spanned over two decades, beginning with my role as an English Teacher in Thailand. Over the years, I have held various positions, including Regional Marketing Director at Griffith University, Regional Manager, Marketing at The University of Queensland, Channel Account Manager at UTS College and Director of Australia Centre Chiang Mai. My work has taken me to numerous countries, where I have developed a deep understanding of international education markets. In addition to my professional achievements, I have a strong commitment to mentoring and coaching, helping to guide the next generation of marketing and recruitment professionals. Outside of work, I enjoy engaging with the baseball community as an umpire and playing social golf with friends, which provide a well-rounded perspective on life and work.
