Suchita is an International Education Marketing Professional with over twenty years of operating experience across India and the South Asia markets. She began her career with the British Council, being the youngest senior manager in the organization when she assumed the responsibility of managing the Study UK brand for India along with a scholarship and partnerships portfolio.

Post her long stint with the British Council she moved on to work for the Inlaks Foundation as their Program Director looking after a scholarship portfolio for study across institutions based in UK, USA and Europe along with developing new partnerships and funding models.

In her current role as Director International Education with the Government of New South Wales (NSW) she is responsible for the marketing strategy of the Study NSW brand in India. Her work encompasses working with NSW schools, Skills providers, Higher Education Institutions, and EdTech companies in NSW that are looking to expand in the India marketplace. She advises NSW institutions on partnerships and TNE strategies that they can deploy in India.

Suchita has had the privilege of being educated in India and the UK. She was awarded the British Chevening Scholarship to read for a master’s in molecular Genetics at the University of Leicester and is a firm believer that study abroad is a life changing experience. She is a big advocate of the same and this belief has made her move from being a molecular geneticist to making international education marketing and strategy her passion and profession.
