A highly esteemed academic staff member of the College of Computing & Informatics at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. The Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) has recognized his expertise and awarded him the prestigious professional title of Professional Technologist. 

Drawing from an illustrious twelve-year career in the education industry, Eddren has been seconded to the distinguished position of managing international marketing at UNITEN's esteemed Marketing department. 

As an academic staff member, he has made a profound impact by sharing his knowledge with students through diverse subjects. Whether teaching in person or adopting innovative virtual methods, Eddren ensures that his classes are engaging and effective in nurturing students' intellectual growth. His assessment strategies are thoughtfully designed to gauge students' comprehension across various levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Beyond his academic endeavors, Eddren plays a pivotal role as a strategic planner for international marketing, charting new territories to fortify the university's brand both within Malaysia and on a global scale. Demonstrating exceptional marketing engagement and negotiation skills, he has spearheaded collaborations with embassies and third-party agents, successfully expanding the university's reach to a broader audience. The remarkable outcome of his efforts can be witnessed in the soaring number of student enrollments, surpassing even the most ambitious intake targets set by the university for the year 2021. 

Apart from his professional achievements, Eddren remains actively involved in voluntary activities, demonstrating his strong commitment to community service and environmental well-being. Serving as the past president and esteemed board member of the Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur City, Malaysia, he has been awarded the distinguished Melvin Jones fellow by the Lions Club International Foundation, exemplifying his dedication to making a positive impact on society.
