Zahira Gabriela Cruz Netro has served as the Director of the B.S. in Industrial Engineering with minor in Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey, campus Tampico, since 2021. She holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, along with a Master's and a Doctorate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's in Data Science and Business Intelligence at the same university.
With 7 years of experience in the petrochemical and automotive industries, her professional background encompasses logistics, production planning and control, project management, and process optimization. Additionally, she has over 10 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate, master's, and continuing education levels.
She has collaborated with researchers from the Mexican Institute of Transportation in risk analysis of supply chains. In the consulting field, she specializes in process optimization and risk management in transportation and distribution. She also develops educational innovation projects that integrate technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. The results of her collaborations and projects have been presented at various national and international forums.
