Currently, his work focuses on leveraging AI and immersive technologies to improve learner engagement, clinical decision-making, and workforce capability. He collaborates across sectors to strengthen performance measurement and build sustainable models of interprofessional education.
Ahmed serves as a peer reviewer for BMC Medicine and Frontiers in Medicine, and is actively engaged with professional bodies including ACHSM, AES, AACP, and Zonta International. At Reimagine Education, he advocates for cross-sector partnerships that embed pedagogical rigour, digital tools, and data-informed strategies to prepare future-ready professionals and foster system-wide transformation in health education.
