Dr. Ir. Che Maznah Mat Isa is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Previously, she served as a Professor at the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Pulau Pinang Branch, where she dedicated over three decades of service. She holds a Professional Engineering with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and has held significant leadership roles, including Head of the Quality Unit at UiTM (2017-2019) and Associate Director (Technician) (2018-2020). Currently, she is serving as the Associate Director (Civil) at the Engineering Accreditation Department (EAD), Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), until 2026. Dr. Che Maznah has received numerous prestigious national and international awards for her contributions in the fields of engineering education and accreditation

Dr. Che Maznah is a certified Head of Panel Evaluator for the EAD, a MQA APEL A & C panel evaluator, and an internal auditor for iQMS at UiTM. She is a master trainer in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), a certified Master Trainer in the CDIO Framework for Engineering Education (2012) and Training of Trainer Certificate from HRD Corp (2022). She serves as an External Examiner for Civil Engineering programs at various universities in Malaysia. She was appointed as an Expert in Outcome-Based Education for the ASEAN European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE) (2022) and Deputy Head of Engineering and Built Environment Cluster, National Council of Professors National Council of Professors (2022-2024). Dr. Che Maznah is involved in the development and review of curriculum for diploma, degree, and master programs, and has served on various committees within and outside the university. She has delivered hundreds of workshops, training sessions, and conference papers on engineering education, accreditation, and outcome-based education both locally and internationally, and is actively engaged in research, consultancy and community projects in international construction business, civil engineering, engineering education, and accreditation. She has published her work in various journals and conferences and has received numerous research and academic awards. She was the champion of AKRI2022 (Anugerah Khas YB Menteri Pengajian Tinggi: Rekabentuk Kurikulum dan Penyampaian Inovatif) under Alternative Assessment Category, entitled “An Innovative Alternative Assessment for Engineers in Society Course Integrated with SULAM and Design Thinking Approaches”. the QS Reimagine Education Awards and Conference 2023 as the top 30% of the global competition. She recently won the Silver Award under the Learning Assessment Category (PRIME-CSDI) by the QS Quacquarelli Symonds at the 11th QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference held in QEII Conference Centre, Westminster, London, United Kingdom from 9-11 December 2024.
