As Deputy Director of Quality Enhancement at Hazara University Mansehra, Pakistan, I lead academic, research, and quality initiatives that enhance the university’s rankings and educational standards. I hold a PhD in Archaeology, along with an MPhil and MA in the same field. I’ve worked in several administrative capacities, including Assistant Registrar, Assistant Director of Museum & Administration, and Assistant Director of Academics & Research. In these roles, I’ve spearheaded efforts to improve governance, quality assurance processes, and international collaborations, directly influencing the university’s academic growth. My experience extends internationally, as I’ve been involved in projects and initiatives like the QS World University Rankings, UIGM World University Rankings, and ISO 21001-2018 certification for educational management. These roles have given me deep insights into university governance, ranking systems, and global educational standards. I’ve gained a comprehensive understanding of the complexity’s universities face and how to effectively address them through innovation and quality improvement. In addition to my administrative experience, I have been involved in significant research projects in archaeology and heritage management, with funding from organizations like the British Council and Leicester University UK. I’ve presented at international conferences, addressing topics like museum management, archaeology, and higher education governance.
