Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain is an e-learning expert and Assistant Professor at ULAB, where he also directs the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. With a Ph.D. in E-learning Methodology, he specializes in media, new technologies, and pedagogy. A former media professional, he blends academic insight with real-world experience and has led numerous projects on education, communication, and development.

Dr. Mohammad Shazzad Hossain is an e-learning expert, Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Since 2012, he has contributed to initiating innovative teaching techniques and vibrant cocurricular activities in the Department. In recognition of his contributions, the university honored him with the Vice Chancellor Award of Excellence in 2017.


He has a Ph.D. in E-learning Methodology and expertise in film studies, journalism, community media, new media, and development communication. As an expert, he has collaborated with numerous government and development agencies on several projects, like e-learning module design, documentary productions, research, and community development. Prior to joining academia, he worked as a media professional for eight years. His interdisciplinary knowledge and skills make him a sought-after expert in both academic and industrial settings.
