"Dr. Ritesh Ranjan is a seasoned academic leader, researcher, and cultural strategist dedicated to advancing higher education in India. He currently serves as the Head of School at Jagran School of Design, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, where he leads programs ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels. His work focuses on reimagining curriculum design, enhancing faculty development, and strengthening institutional outreach to align education with contemporary and future needs.

Dr. Ritesh holds a PhD in Art History from Panjab University, Chandigarh, an MFA from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and an honorary D.Litt in Design education. His interdisciplinary expertise bridges art history, design thinking, and education policy to develop learner-centric and industry-relevant academic models.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Chitrolekha Journal on Art & Design and a Visiting Professor at the School of Art & Culture, Vedic Wellness University, Florida, USA. As an accomplished scholar, he has authored and edited numerous works, including over 20 peer-reviewed research papers, 100+ articles, and several books. He has also curated exhibitions and design projects for prominent galleries, museums, and cultural festivals across India.

A recognized voice in education innovation, Dr. Ritesh serves as a judge for the prestigious QS Reimagine Education Awards since 2023. His areas of expertise include academic governance, indigenous knowledge systems, postcolonial theory, and the integration of emerging technologies in education.
