Dr. Dua Wahbeh is an award-nominated Palestinian educator, researcher, and consultant, currently serving as Director of the Training Department at the National Institute for Educational Training (NIET). She holds a Ph.D. in Education and Learning with a focus on instructional design and global competencies, and is a graduate of the Harvard MEPLI Fellowship. Dua has led large-scale educational transformation projects, including the national shift to digital teacher training in Palestine. She is the creator of the GHOSHEH Model for Open Educational Resources and the shortlisted project The Green Global Instructional Design, recognized by the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2024. As a consultant, Dua specializes in instructional design, teacher professional development, digital learning, educational leadership, and academic freedom. Her work as an educator centers on innovation, equity, and empowering learning communities in challenging contexts.

Dr. Dua Wahbeh is the Director of the Training Department at the National Institute for Educational Training (NIET) under the Palestinian Ministry of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and Learning, specializing in Educational Technology, with a focus on instructional design and global competencies. A Harvard MEPLI Fellow and award-nominated innovator, Dua led the national transformation of teacher professional development from face-to-face to digital modalities during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is the creator of the GHOSHEH Model, a framework for creating and sharing Open Educational Resources (OER) that supports participatory learning and academic freedom.

Dua's work emphasizes digital learning transformation, visible thinking, and educational justice. Her recent project, The Green Global Instructional Design, was shortlisted for the QS Reimagine Education Lifelong Learning Award 2024, demonstrating her commitment to innovation in global teacher training. She also consults internationally on curriculum development, microlearning, and leadership in education.
