Professor Farheen Hassan Ph.D., SFHEA has been an Educator of Business Studies at AIUB since 1999, with Teaching, Research, and Consulting and Project Work experience in different sectors. She is the Director of IQAC and previously served as the Associate Dean, Director of the Undergraduate (BBA) Program, and Department Head of HRM & MGMNT of the Faculty of Business Administration, Additional Director, IQAC-AIUB. In addition, she is a pioneering practitioner in Bangladesh on QA in Higher Education as an Academic Auditor, Resource Person, Facilitator, and Trainer of the UGC, and Bangladesh Accreditation Council. She is a Facilitator for the "Center of Teaching-Learning" and "Teaching Excellence Performance" of the British Council (BC). To date, she has provided training on QA, Pedagogy, Blended Learning and Outcome Based Education in numerous public and private universities in Bangladesh.
Currently, she has been serving as a researcher and consultant in the education arena with other NGOs and development sectors. Furthermore, she has served as a course instructor at the University of Madras, India in the Postgraduate Diploma program and as visiting faculty at the University of Gavle, Sweden, teaching in the BBA & MBA programs. She has also worked in different capacities with the projects of World Bank-HEQEP; IIEP-UNESCO, Paris; ISAS-IAU-UNESCO; MTC Global, India; IEB, IAB; ISO; APQN, QS, WURI, THE; Action Aid; IFC; UNICEF; Magna Charta Observatory, Erasmus + and other. She is a certified ToT and a Member of the Expert Committee for “OBE Curriculum” and “Teachers Training Module” of UGC. She has Completed several courses and trainings locally and internationally on QA, C4D, T-L, OBE and Pedagogy.
 Outside of these endeavors, Farheen Hassan has co-authored various books on Business Studies, Communication, and Employability by BC and UGC, on IQA and employability, published by IIEP-UNESCO, and Book Chapters published globally. She has represented AIUB in diverse and dynamic platforms including Magna Charta, APQN, IAU, UK-SOS. She has published several peer-reviewed research papers in international journals with high-impact factors. She presented conference papers in international forums and conducted seminars and talks. 
She has completed BBA, MBA, MDS, MDS from AIUB and Ph.D. from IBA, University of Dhaka. She has obtained “Senior Fellowship, SFHEA” on Teaching-Learning from Advance HE, UK. She is pursuing Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Naresuan University, Thailand, and is an Awardee of Post Doctoral Fellowship under the UGC of Bangladesh. Furthermore, her efforts in the field of higher education have been recognized with awards including, “Women of Inspiration in Academia” by the Bangladesh Organization for Learning and Development, “Peace Award” for “Contribution of Women towards Peace” by the Junior Chamber Industry, and “MTC Global Award of Excellence as Management Educator”. Her research topics have addressed a wide range of issues such as higher Education Development, Quality Assurance, Sustainability, and Gender Inequality.
