Dr. Guillermo Chans earned his B.Sc. (2004) and Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (2011) from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in inorganic chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, UNAM, Mexico (2014). Since 2020, he has been an Assistant Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and an Associate Research Professor at the Institute for the Future of Education, where he is part of the Engaging and Motivating Learning Models Unit. He has authored 28 articles in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, presented at 12 Scopus-indexed conferences, and led two educational innovation projects that reflect his commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and innovative teaching. In 2022, he was recognized as a member of the Outstanding Professors Circle. His research focuses on educational innovation, with particular interest in gamification, emerging technologies for education, and the analysis of psychosocial constructs in STEM education.
