A passionate academic leader and technologist, Dr. Khushal Thakur brings over a decade of excellence in teaching, academic strategy, and research across interdisciplinary domains including IoT, AI, and Wireless Communication. As Associate Dean – Academic Affairs at Chandigarh University, he plays a pivotal role in steering curriculum reforms, outcome-based education, and NEP 2020 implementation. A proactive contributor to QS Reimagine Education and ABET processes, he is driven by a mission to inspire future-ready learners through academic innovation, inclusive pedagogies, and tech-integrated education models.
Dr. Khushal Thakur serves as Associate Dean – Academic Affairs at Chandigarh University, where he has led major initiatives in curriculum development, academic audits, and strategic planning. Holding a Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a focus on Massive MIMO systems, his expertise spans AI, Embedded Systems, and EdTech integration. He has authored 30+ research publications (including IEEE Access and Springer), contributed to several book chapters, and holds multiple granted Indian patents. A recipient of awards from QS Reimagine Education, Blackboard, and Samsung Prism, Dr. Thakur is deeply involved in national education transformations aligned with NEP 2020, and has conducted numerous workshops on OBE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and IoT. His current work is committed to advancing learning ecosystems that blend academic rigor with innovation and real-world relevance.
