DR. ROSELYN T. BUSTOS earned her Doctor of Arts in Literature and Communication from Cebu Normal University, Master of Arts in English from the University of San Jose-Recoletos, and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from Cebu State College (now Cebu Normal University).

Her teaching career began in 1994 at various private institutions, including Don Bosco Technical College, Center for International Education, Sisters of Mary Boystown, Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women, and the University of San Jose-Recoletos, where she taught until 2010. In 2011, she joined the College of Arts and Sciences at Cebu Technological University (CTU), where she continues to serve with distinction.

At CTU, Dr. Bustos began her research journey and presented her work at international conferences in Japan and New York City in 2015. She is also an accomplished writer, having published literary works such as Book of Quotes, Life's Portrait, A Retrospection, Pamana, and Odette.

Currently, she is an Associate Professor V, an Accreditor for the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), a Member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives, and a National Peer Reviewer for Scholarly Lens: A Literary Magazine for Educators. From 2015 to 2023, she served as University Director for Publication. Under the current administration, she now holds the position of University Director for Instructional Materials and Publication at CTU.

In 2021, Dr. Bustos led the successful accreditation of CTU as a Book and e-Book Publisher with the National Book Development Board. With this milestone, she continues to advocate for the development and publication of high-quality instructional materials for the university.

In addition to her university-wide roles, she has served as Chair of the Diploma in Professional Education Program at CTU–Naga Extension Campus since 2019. Under her leadership, the program has produced numerous LET passers, empowering graduates to serve in both secondary and tertiary education sectors.
