Swathi Nair – Educator | Researcher | Teacher trainer
Swathi Nair is a committed and multifaceted educator with extensive experience across school and higher education settings. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at JG College of Education, Ahmedabad. She has served as a visiting faculty member at JG College of Education (PG), JG College of Computer Application and full time teacher at ASIA English School.
Holding a Master's in Commerce (M.Com), Master's in Education (M.Ed), and Postgraduate Diplomas in Counselling & Family Therapy, and Educational Leadership & Management, Swathi is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education. Her research focuses on the impact of a growth mindset on students’ achievement. She has cleared NET - National Eligibility Test in the subject Education.
Swathi has presented multiple research papers at national and international conferences, and has published research articles and book chapters in reputed academic journals. She was honored with the Best Presentation Award at an International Conference, reflecting the impact and clarity of her scholarly work.
She serves as an editor for the Arabiyat: Journal for Arabic Education and arabic studies, an international academic journal, contributing to scholarly discourse and publication standards in education. Swathi is also actively engaged in institutional life beyond academics, having served as a judge for cultural, literary, and dance events, showcasing her holistic approach to student development.
Her educational philosophy combines academic excellence, emotional intelligence, and innovation. She has been a CBSE External Evaluator, and has attended professional development programs organized by CBSE, CENTA, and OUP. Swathi is particularly passionate about empowering teachers through AI literacy, cultivating growth mindsets, and designing inclusive, future-ready classrooms.
