Involved and proficient in management, company growth, public relations, networking, and outreach. Currently responsible for public relations and international affairs at the Guna Bangsa College of Health Sciences in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Teaching some college courses, including Health Policy, Policy in Midwifery, Health Law and Ethics, Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Psychology, Health Communication, Research Methodology, and English for Healthcare.

Wisnu’s educational experience and professional practice have provided him with an interdisciplinary grounding. In 2014, he earned a Bachelor of Political Science in International Relations with first-class honors. Following that, he co-founded a consulting firm with his business partner, specializing in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, as well as environmental and public health aspects. Aside from establishing a solid professional foundation in company development, he also gained an in-depth understanding of environmental and public health. He worked on a variety of projects and assessments that needed him to perform challenging qualitative research and multidisciplinary assessments, as well as provide tactical recommendations for both private-sector business practices and government initiatives. Working in this ESIA field enabled him to develop his qualitative research skills, as he practiced ethnography and behavioral change assessments through participant observation and in-person interviews. He worked for this company for about six years before moving to the college where he now works.

Earning practical and professional experience in the ESIA field has given Wisnu the desire to contribute to promoting sustainable development. This value also motivates him to always share sustainable principles and practices with the clients and partners he deals with. With this interest, he decided to pursue a master's degree in the Development and Sustainability program at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, one of Southeast Asia's premier international institutions. With his profile, he was able to successfully enroll in this campus and receive a fully funded scholarship from the Royal Thai Government. Studying in a field that he is enthusiastic about helped him perform more effectively. He studied various relevant courses, such as Environmental Health and Sanitation, Social Impact Assessment, and policy-related courses, as well as a thesis on the ESIA review of a landfill in his hometown, with an emphasis on the environmental and public health impacts. He finished his master's degree in May 2023 with second-class honors and began teaching at his current college.

Wisnu’s primary passions have always been teaching and working in education. He has been an English tutor since 2009. While running his ESIA consulting firm, he also taught English and Social Studies in a middle school. He eventually ended up at the college where he currently works to continue pursuing a career in (higher) education. Initially, he worked in the public relations and international affairs department, but because teaching is his passion, the college also allowed him to teach after completing his master's.
