Arvind Pandi Dorai heads the Office of Advancement at K J Somaiya Institute of Management. He comes in with a decade plus of experience in the education industry in various capacities. From being a faculty to handling Alumni Relations, Public Relations, Placements, etc., he has been on the academic as well on the administrative side of the industry.

At K J Somaiya Institute of Management, he has been responsible for drawing up a strategic road map in strengthening the alumni base and provide tangible benefits to alumni, current students & the institute. He has setup the Public Relations function for the institute with the objective of effective communication to targeted stakeholders. As a part of PR, he advocates effective use of social media by students and faculty to create brand evangelists. He was a part of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University's core team to roll-out the brand strategy and spearhead the same for the management institute. As an integral part of the Digital Transformation committee, he has been driving technology upgradation at the institute.

On the personal front, he is an avid traveller, amateur photographer and a sustainability enthusiast. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring young minds who are at the crossroads of their life.
