Berrin YANIKKAYA became a full Professor in Communication Studies in 2016. Ever since, she has been holding leadership positions in Türkiye, New Zealand, and Cyprus.  Currently, she is working at Yeditepe University as an Executive Adviser to the President of the University and as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Furthermore, she has been serving as the Founding Coordinator of the University Learning and Teaching Unit, YU-LEARNT, since February 2021. She is the founding chair of the Yeditepe Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, YEDI, and she is now leading a team responsible for updating the University’s Gender Equality Action Plan.
