Bruno Mariani is the Director of Employer Relations and Career Services at Bocconi University, Milan.
He is a 20+ year experienced Executive in Higher Education, with a passion for data analysis and innovation.
His research on the key components determining the future of employment – including the identification of the emerging professions, the competences desired by employers and the essential skills that next-generation leaders must possess – has contributed shaping Bocconi educational offer and timely aligning it with the ever-evolving needs of the job market
Bruno is strongly committed in innovating the operational landscape of higher education institutions, by leveraging technological and digital tools in educational products and processes. As a keen proponent of data analytics and AI, more recently his approach involves applying predictive modeling and AI to employability measures, allowing for the identification of critical success patterns within the academic and professional journeys of students and graduates.
A passionate team-leader, Bruno currently heads a group of 40 people, managing the entire value-chain of career advice, employer relations and placement activities at Bocconi, which entails continuous interactions with major stakeholders, such as students, faculty members, employers and alumni.
Throughout his career, Bruno has played a pivotal role in launching strategic international initiatives, most notably contributing to the establishment of Bocconi International Campus in Mumbai.
