Obike Chima is a Digital Skills Trainer,  Business Outlook Analyst, Emerging Technology Adoption Advocate, Corporate Development Strategist, and  Startup Growth Mentor with over five years of experience in technology adoption strategies for small businesses, corporate development, IT workplace training, and e-commerce.

He earned a Business Intelligence and Data Analysis (BIDA) from the Corporate Finance Institute, Vancouver, Canada and a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analysis (FMVA) from the same school.

Over the past five years, Chima has demonstrated proven competency in emerging technology strategy, IT training, product development, technology advisory and workplace leadership training by championing cutting-edge brainstorming sessions, development programmes, and hands-on executive clinics. 

At the moment, He is serving as the Co-Lead, Emerging Technology and Strategy at Immersive Tech Africa, where he continues to provide strategy for the many technology-driven social impact projects in the emerging technology sector that are championed by Immersive Tech Africa.

He is the former General Manager at Spadez Management and Public Relations Limited and a  member of several  stakeholder's engagement platforms - like the World Metaverse Council (WMC) - that advocate inclusiveness and the penetration of immersive technology in Africa and beyond. 

He is a former student in the Decentralized Finance Programme at Frankfurt School Blockchain Center, Frankfurt, Germany (a part of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management); and currently in the NFT Programme at Frankfurt School Blockchain Center, Frankfurt, Germany. 

In 2017, Obike was accepted as Trainer in the Google Digital Skills programme, which enabled him to train over 5,000 young people including businesses and organizations across Nigeria. He helped new businesses discover more ways of connecting with their customers and expanding their reach online by adopting business-focused Google products, like the Google My Business app, Google Trend, YouTube, etc. In addition, his previous experience as the General Manager of a PR and Digital Communications company had given him incredible opportunity to develop his management, leadership, problem-solving, and financial planning skills which he currently deploy as a Business Coach, Startup Advisor and Personal Development Mentor for young businesses and organizations. He has continued to leverage constant training, relevant networks and strategic partners to help individuals, teams, organizations and communities leverage technology and become more sustainable and viable.

He is an Alumnus of the GOTNI Leadership Center, Nigeria where he was accepted into the Executive Leadership Programme; a former student at New Horizons, Nigeria where he earned a CCNA, and currently studying at the prestigious University of the People, California, United States of America.

Chima has participated in the 2023 Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Programme for Entreprenuership implemented by the Dunin-Deshpande Queens Innovation Center, at Queen's University, Ontario, Canada. 

He is very committed to ensuring the increase of technology literacy through digital skills training, emerging tech adoption, effective programme implementation, empowering businesses with tech-centric tools; and equipping communities with the platforms they need for tapping into the enormous potentials in emerging technologies.

Chima has written several publications on digital skills, technology and workplace leadership including making contributions to industry specific journals.
