Farah Mohamad Zain is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Technology. She is currently the Coordinator of the Postgraduate program at the School of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Farah holds a PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia and has 8 years of teaching experience. Dr. Farah has extensive experience in digital content development (video production, editing, narrating, interactive content, etc) for Open Educational Resources (OER), Open Courseware (OCW) and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Her research areas include digital content development, instructional technology, scholarship of teaching and learning, and augmented reality. She also active in producing impactful innovations that help to improve and enrich the community’s life quality, industry and the nation’s economy. Her products have been recognized and acknowledged at various levels with awards in gold in both national and international levels. This experience is much more meaningful when she received award for Young Innovator Award and Young Research Innovation Award – Intellectual Property in 2022.
