Husa Alangari is Assistant Professor of Instructional Design and Technology at the School of Education at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) and consultant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She received her MSEd and PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University (IU) in Bloomington.
Her research focuses on instructional design, faculty professional development, artificial intelligence in education, and innovative learning pedagogies and practices through qualitative and mixed methods research. Her professional work experience spans over 20 years at the Ministry of Education, Princess Nourah University, Center for Educational Evaluation and Policy at Indiana University, Healthcare Leadership Academy, and the National e-Learning Center.
She is the recipient of the Education 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award, the 2021 Technology, Instruction, Cognition, & Learning SIG’s Outstanding International Research Collaboration Award from the American Educational Research Association, and a nominee of the 2019 Martin Luther King Building Bridges Award from Indiana University.
