Dr. Kabaly P Subramanian is Head-Faculty of Business Studies, Arab Open University, Oman. He holds MBA and PhD in Management. He is a member of British Academy of Management (UK) and Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Strategic partner of Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre (Malaysia). 

Dr. Kabaly P Subramanian has been in Learning & Development for the past 25 years. His Research and Teaching interests lies at the intersection of Business Strategy, Business Innovation, Startups, Startup Ecosystems and Digital Transformation of Businesses. Dr. Kabaly has published in indexed journals and conferences. He is presently leading a team of researchers in investigating Digital Transformation of Higher Education Institutions, funded by The Research Council, Oman.

Dr. Kabaly is in the Editorial board of several academic research journals. Dr. Kabaly P Subramanian has trained more than 1000 Business leaders, Entrepreneurs and Executives in Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation. He has consulted large, medium, and small enterprises on Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation initiatives. Presently Dr. Kabaly is consulting a large corporate in Oman on their Digital Transformation Strategy.

Recently Dr. Kabaly graduated from Columbia Business School, US and MIT, US in their jointly offered PG program in Digital Business through Emeritus Institute of Management, Singapore. He has attended number of Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Management Development Programs (MDP) in institutions which includes IIM-K, IIM-B, TAPMI, ISB (India), UCSI (Malaysia) and, Oxford University (UK).

Dr. Kabaly involved in social initiatives which includes supporting educational Institutions and startups. Prior to Arab Open University, Dr. Kabaly P Subramanian worked with National Institute of Human Resources Development, University of Madras affiliated college (India) as Assistant Professor and as Head of Academic Section in University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman during which he was awarded with “Best Employee”. Dr. Kabaly is the first expatriate employee to receive this award.

Dr Kabaly has attended and presented his research in several International Conferences and Journals in Three Continents ( Asia, North America, and Europe) which incluses US, UK, India, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Georgia and Malaysia and won best research paper award.
