Leigh
Kamolins is Director of Analytics & Evaluation at QS. He has a background
in performance, quality assurance and evaluation system design spanning the
public and private sectors. At QS he also established the first ever targeted
program of diversity and inclusion initiatives for the business, creating a
series of staff networks and embedding DEI approaches in to the operating
fabric of the company. He is part of a working group with the UN Higher
Education Sustainability Initiative on how the impact of rankings, ratings and
assessments can drive action to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Before
joining QS, Leigh led a team at the UK Department for Education working on the biggest
school reform program in British history aimed to tackle education inequalities
throughout England. He also has previous experience in the public sector in
Australia designing human rights and anti-corruption frameworks. Leigh has
undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Monash University including study
abroad at King’s College London. He was awarded an Executive MBA fellowship for
an LGBT+ Leader at the Central European University. Leigh speaks widely in
international forums on equalities and the social impact of education.
