Dr. Michael Pishko is the President at American International University, Kuwait. He has 30 years of experience in higher education and previously served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at AIU, Dean of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Wyoming, and Department Head of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research interests are in the areas of biosensors, biomaterials, and drug delivery systems. Michael has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 24 issued US patents. He is a member of the National Academy of Inventors and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Biomedical and Biochemical Engineers. He received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his Ph.D. In Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
