I have been working as a principal software engineer since August 10, 1999, at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Ministry of Education, Government of India. I am an IT professional with experience in multiple domains. I am taking leadership of various teams. I am also involved in academics and research. I have a total of 30 years of work experience. I have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-class, scalable data management solutions in terms of IT Project Management. I have experience with how to take necessary measures in DATA governance: defining additional data management project scope based on the organization's requirements; data harmonization (bringing data together in different formats); data ingestion (data movement for further processing); data integration (mediated and materialized); data warehousing; and data mining. I have experience creating and driving organizational value and projecting the organization in all possible and real ways with effective use of existing data. I am involved in developing data and information strategies in order to facilitate and enhance organizational decision-making and data utilization across the organization. I am involved in developing data-related policies and procedures; designing, improving, and streamlining organizational data systems; and driving innovation in the area of enterprise-wide data science, analysis, and visualization. I am working closely with various units to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets. I am involved in collecting data from different data sources (acquisition), cleansing and optimizing data, including exploratory, confirmatory, and investigative data, obtaining value from the huge amount of data, organizing and analyzing (transforming data into a solution), and communicating these findings for better organization decisions and visualizations. I am involved in predictive analysis (through the use of data, statistical algorithms, and machine learning techniques to identify the likelihood of future outcomes based on historical data), regression analysis (through a set of statistical methods used for the estimation of relationships between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables), and qualitative analysis (research, teaching, employability, income, etc.). I am involved in functional requirements, data architecture, enterprise database design, data extraction, and data analytics.

Besides, I was engaged in Primary and Higher Education and am now engaged in Higher Technical Education. I am dealing with various academic matters, including research and innovation, research and planning, the research ecosystem, and measuring the impact of research on society. I was involved in the World University Rankings and the National and Domestic Rankings. I am engaged in doing case studies, benchmarking, and performance evaluations (KPIs). I was a key player in bringing the Institute of Eminence tag,  fine-tuning the Institute of Eminence website. I was a key player in the External Peer Review and Accreditation process. Fine-tuning the Council of IITs website, and I was engaged in maintaining the data at the portal. I have released a large number of innovative documents for the Institute in various dimensions.

I have a number of research publications in international journals and Conference proceedings. I have published one book chapter in the field of Computer Science in an internationally circulated book. One Book Chapter in the field of Computer Science is submitted for blind peer review and publication. Some research papers were accepted for oral presentation at international conferences such as 1) IASTED, ACIT, NOVOSIBRISK, Russia; 2) ICMLC, Singapore; 3) WCECS, ICCSA, San Francisco, USA, 4) IRED, ACEC, Zurich, Switzerland. I have obtained five copyrights for comprehensive and integrated information systems. I have obtained many trainings. I am a senior member of international associations and editorial boards. I have obtained the Staff Excellence Award based on an assessment of significant impact on the institute's functioning through outstanding dedication, competence, and exceptional performance, excellent service to the institute community and staff, and ingenuity.
