Dr. Mohammad
Zulfeequar Alam holds a PhD in Marketing Management from Aligarh Muslim
University in 2005, Master in Agri Eco and Business Management from Aligarh
Muslim University, India, 1999. and a B.Com. (Honors) with distinction grade
from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, 1995. After his bachelor's degree, he was
selected for M. Com at Delhi University in 1996, but after the first year, he
preferred to move to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, for further
study in 1997.
Currently, Dr Mohammad
Alam is working as a Professor (Associate) of Marketing, at the University of Business
& Technology (UBT), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has served as
Research Coordinator of the College of Business Administration, UBT, for more than
a year and served as KPI Coordinator of the Program, which got accreditation by
NCAAA and QS. Excellent (5 Stars), University of Business & Technology
(UBT), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Before joining UBT in
2008, he was an approved faculty Kanpur University, UP, India, and Head of the Department (HoD) of Management Studies at Sacred Heart Degree College, Sitapur,
UP. In addition, he served as a deputy controller of examination during his
tenure at Sacred Heart Degree College on behalf of Kanpur University in 2007.
Additionally, Dr Alam served as an Assistant Professor & was the Founder and Head of the Dept (HoD) of Management Studies of the MBA Program, Jahangirabad
Institute of Technology, U.P, India.
Dr Alam has authored a
book that has a significant impact on the marketing of alternative medicines.
It is noted that this book has been cited by the World Health Organization (WHO),
United Nations (UN): Economic and Social Council (2014), as well as it appeared at various international levels of citations, and is well documented in International
Universities Libraries. Many Ayurvedic and Unani medicines
manufacturing companies have benefited from his advice and suggestions in
this book. Dr Alam has to his credit several research papers and book chapters
published in various journals of national and international repute and has been
recognized globally. He has attended many workshops and conferences at the
national and international levels.
Dr Mohammad Alam has
his credit for a highly prestigious research award, "Dr Abdullah Dahlan Best
Scientific Research Award in 2017" in Saudi Arabia. He has also received the Outstanding Researcher Award of 2017 from UBT, Jeddah, KSA. In addition, he received
the Educational Award in the year 2022, by Tewar- News, India. His research publications/interests are
related to marketing in general, particularly in consumer behavior, marketing
communication, social marketing, services marketing, strategic marketing,
Retail Management, marketing research, and international marketing.
During his academic
career of more than fifteen years, Dr Alam has taught various subjects at UG/PG
levels in his field of expertise. In addition, he has guided several projects
and has served as a PhD guide and examiner.
Moreover, Dr Alam has
been a member of committees and review board member of several journals/
committees at the national and international level; the few of the following

Dr Mohammad belongs to Maulanagar, Pupri, District Sitamarhi, Bihar. He has completed schooling at a government school, Maulanagar, and Matric from LM High School Pupri, Sitamarhi. Since his education, he has been very active in social services at the local level; in light of his mission, he founded a Society named Students Welfare Society, Maulanagar, to support the deprived and marginalized people of his panchayat in their educational, social and health services. He served as an event manager of a commerce student organization at Delhi University, India. During his studies at AMU, he served as a program manager of the Literary Club, DSW, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Besides his academic activities and hobbies, he is interested in Urdu literature; he has published several educational and moral articles in the Urdu language that are published in many newspapers and magazines. He is highly keen to help society to his best level; hence he is an active member of many charitable organizations in India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he is currently serving.
