Dr. OMAR KHALDOON ABDULRAHMAN is finished PhD in
Computer and Communication Engineering School, University
Malaysia Perlis. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and
Electronic Engineering from University of Technology, Iraq, in
1996; and the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from
University of Technology, Iraq, in 2002. In 2013, he enrolled in the
PhD program in Communication Engineering at University Malaysia
Perlis. His research interests primarily revolve around Smart Antenna
Technology, Adaptive Beamforming Algorithms, wireless
Communication, and Coordinated Multi-point Communication
Systems in 4G and beyond.
From 1996 to 2013, Omar worked as a researcher at the Ministry of
Science and Technology (MOST) in Iraq. During this period, he held
the position of Chairman of the Electronic Design Department from
2003 to 2009. Additionally, he served as an external lecturer for four
years with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education. Since 2018, Omar
has been working as a lecturer at the University of Anbar in Iraq,
where he continues to contribute his expertise.
