Innovation in education has been my area of interest throughout my career in academics. Making students learn the art of applying knowledge in real life has been the prime goal till date. With technologies like VR, AR, IoT and many more converging technologies the education delivery and students learning can be transformed phenomenal ways never experienced in past. Changing the goals of experiment more towards real life design and innovative experimental progress in incremental ways can open up large possibilities for those who want to join Industry or go for entrepreneurship.
Pradip Chhawcharia has experience of more than 36 years in Academia, Industry and Applied Research. His experience has been very wide which ranges from Industry System Designs, Digital systems, Analog Electronics, Power Electronics, EMI/EMC to Robotics and Automation. Pradip Chhawcharia has experience of designing very successful consumer products for USA and Europe markets. He has experience of many countries and working with multicultural international teams. His aim has been to make education truly outcome based and create an intelligent team of people to contribute in innovation and entrepreneurship. His teaching methods include merging of Industry Design practices with teaching in classrooms of universities.
