I am an accomplished professional with expertise in Entrepreneurship and Higher Education. Currently, I hold the positions of Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director-R&D at GITAM University, India. In addition, I am the co-founder and Director of Skilliantech Limited, a global CMMI-Level3 company headquartered in London.
My educational background is diverse, encompassing a B.Engg degree from Nagpur University, an MSc in Telecommunications, a PhD, and an MBA from Aston University in the United Kingdom. I am actively involved in implementing the Going Global Collaboration Grant offered by the British Council and a significant grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to establish a Technology Enabling Centre. This centre focuses on enhancing technology-driven initiatives for development and transfer within the region. Previously, I have successfully worked on grants such as RAE and GCRF, emphasizing sustainability in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my contributions and achievements. In 2005, I was honoured with the esteemed John Flood Telecommunications Prize, and in 2016, I received the Aston 50th Anniversary Scholarship Award. As a co-founder of various businesses in the United Kingdom, I have actively contributed to the entrepreneurial landscape. I have also provided valuable mentorship to numerous start-ups, resulting in their success. Additionally, I have participated in trade missions led by former British Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Theresa May and Sir Malcolm Grant, Chairman of the NHS (National Health Service).
