I am a globally recognized award-winning educator and Principal of Innovation in Education, a blog dedicated to innovating education while always serving our students first. I am a classroom teacher first, my early career working for the Hong Kong Education Department, and exploring the border with Mainland China on my mountain bike, before getting my teaching degree from OISE in 2004.
As an art teacher, I have been innovating award-winning programs ever since, and I am a proud member of the Reimagine Education Awards – the ‘Oscars of Education’ – as a Judge, Speaker and Competitor. I currently teach Grade 7/8 in Toronto, and in my spare time, when I’m not out mountain biking, I am building and testing a Lern2ern platform, scaling the Bootstrapping Checklist, and sharing outcomes and supporting like-minded educators dedicated to improving access to quality education for all.
