Su Sueh Ing is a full-time senior accounting lecturer at
Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. She is a fellow Certified
Practising Accountant (FCPA) and an Associate Supervisor for Masters by
Research students. She was nominated as Assessor representing Swinburne Sarawak
for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Global Business
Challenge in 2014 and 2015. Sueh Ing was the Head of the School of Foundation
Studies from 2018 to 2021. She is currently an active advisor to the University
CPA Student Society. Sueh Ing is also passionate about cultivating young
learners in the rural community and has been a team member of the University STEM
project since 2020. The team was awarded Education Program grants by the
Sarawak Ministry of Education Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) each
year from 2020 to 2023. The STEM project won a Highly Commended Mention in the Swinburne
Vice-Chancellor 2020 Community Engagement Award category. The project is in
response to the Swinburne Strategic Plans and Malaysia Education Blueprint to
build on its strengths in STEM education and social inclusion for all. As a
co-lead for another community project, the ‘Digital Technologies Seniors
Program’, the team won a National Gold Award at the Innovation Technology Exposition
(InTEX) in June 2022. Sueh Ing also received
a Certificate of Recognition from the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and
Community Wellbeing Development for her exceptional commitment, dedication, and
contribution to supporting seniors in embracing digital technologies while bridging
the generational gap.
