S. J. Pawar is a Professor of the Department of
Applied Mechanics at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad,
Prayagraj, India. He had earned a Ph.D. degree from the Ph.D. Program in
Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, College of Engineering, Feng Chia
University, Taichung, Taiwan, (ROC) in 2012. He had received a B. E. (Mech.
Engg.) and M. E. (CAD/CAM) from GCOE, Karad, MS, India and MNREC, Allahabad
(Now MNNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj), UP, India, respectively. He has published
more than 55 scientific papers in international journals and nearly 50
scientific papers in international and national conferences worldwide. He has
supervised 3 Ph.D. theses, 55 master’s theses, and 6 bachelor’s projects.
He is involved in the review of research manuscripts of
nearly 11 internationally renowned journals and international and national
conferences. He has chaired 5 sessions in international and national
conferences and delivered 31 expert lectures at various national and international
events. Moreover, he has participated in 15 Summer/Winter/Short-term Courses and
34 Conference/Seminar/Workshop/Webinar nationally and internationally.
His area of research includes Electroacoustic
Transducers, Acoustics, Acoustic Materials, Composites, Ceramics and bio-ceramics, Noise, MEMS, etc.
