Yong Duan is currently a senior researcher and project manager at Lenovo, a senior member of China Computer Federation, an executive member of Technical Committee of Human Computer Interaction, a senior engineer of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and National Science and Technology Expert of China. He received his BS and PhD degree from Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests include computer vision, HCI and AR/VR. He leads innovative projects such as ThinkMirror, HoloTable, Future Classroom to explore interactive holographic learning, telepresence teaching, etc. and receives Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech Award, Reimagine Education Award, Red Dot Award, China Multimedia Technology and Innovation Award, Excellent Pilot Case of AI Innovation in China, etc.
