Arati Nagaraj is the Director of Abhyudaya, a non-profit initiative of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). Abhyudaya provides after-school enrichment and mentoring programs for children in Mumbai’s K-West Ward. Before this role, Arati served as Principal of the Purkal Youth Development Society, a grade 1–12 school in Uttarakhand dedicated to delivering quality education to underserved children.

Arati brings over 30 years of experience from Boston and Silicon Valley, where she worked across classroom teaching, curriculum design, corporate training, and education leadership—including roles at leading high-tech companies. She holds a Master’s in Education, Media and Technology from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from India.
