Dr. Asha Bhatia is the Dean of Research and Doctoral Programs at Universal AI University, Mumbai, where she has been instrumental in fostering a culture of academic excellence and impactful research. She has over two decades of experience as an academician, researcher, ESG expert, and mentor in the development sector. She serves on the Board of Directors of SIFE India and chairs the ENACTUS Global Faculty Research Network. She is also a member of the International Panel of Sustainability Experts and served on the panel of judges for the QS Reimagine Awards 2024. A dual MBA graduate in Human Resource Management and Finance, Dr. Bhatia also holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies. She has published eight widely acclaimed case studies at The Case Centre, UK, and her case NEIWAI: Defining Strategies for United States Market Expansion is featured by Ivey and Harvard Publishing. Her academic work spans over 80 publications, including research papers, case studies, edited books, and book chapters. She has presented her research at prestigious international conferences in countries such as the UAE, China, Singapore, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Australia. She has been featured as the 10 most Inspiring Education Leaders in India, 2025 and is the recipient of numerous awards including the Forttuna Social Impact Leader of the Year (Education) 2025.
