Prof. Azza has led many leading administrative positions in Egyptian and Arab medical schools and hospitals. She has written four books. She has also co-authored many journal publications and conference presentations in the field of medical education.

She is a Referee in the Professors & Assistant Professors Promotion Scientific Committee  in the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and a member of the Egyptian Society of Medical Education (ESME).
