Professor Basma Fouda
Professor of Design and an academic expert holding a PhD, and a graduate of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Egypt. She is currently serving as a professor at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the United Arab Emirates – Sharjah campus.
With over 25 years of experience in university teaching and curriculum development in design and applied media, she has published numerous research papers in high-impact journals and Scopus-indexed publications, reflecting her distinguished academic contributions to the field.
Professor Basma Fouda
Professor Basma Fouda is an experienced academic and design specialist with a PhD and a degree from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Egypt. She currently serves as a Professor of Design at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), Sharjah campus, United Arab Emirates. With more than 25 years of teaching experience in higher education, Professor Fouda has played a key role in shaping design education and integrating applied media practices across diverse learning environments.
Her academic contributions include several research papers published in high-impact and Scopus-indexed journals, focusing on topics such as visual communication, advertising design, and media innovation. In addition to her academic work, she is also known for mentoring students and leading collaborative projects that bridge design education with community and industry needs in the UAE.
