Carla Ramírez is Director of Digital Transformation for Faculty at Tecnologico de Monterrey. Carla graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and a master's degree in Information Technology Management from Tecnologico de Monterrey.

She has 29 years of experience in designing and managing educational innovation projects, digital transformation, educational technology, user experience, AI for education, and developing learning spaces with new technologies.

She is a current member of the IEEE FD Telepresence Advisory Board and has been a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards in the Artificial Intelligence in Education category. In 2020, she received three QS Reimagine Education Awards for the Hologram Professors project.

At Tecnologico de Monterrey, she has worked as a Leader of Educational Innovation and the Hologram Professor Initiative, Creative and Technological Design Leader, Web Portals and Multimedia Director, Instructional Design Coordinator, and Tutor in the Graduate Program of Information Technology Management.
