
I am a member of the leadership team of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). Previously, I was Associate Dean for Education in LUMS (2019-2023) and a member of the senior leadership team of Lancaster University during the pandemic. My teaching and learning experience includes directing the Lancaster MBA and Executive MBA programmes (2010-2019). I was awarded Principal Fellowship of the HEA in 2024.
I am an alumni of Lancaster having completed a Lancaster MBA
(1999), a Master of Philosophy in Critical Management (2003) and, most
recently, a PhD in Leadership and Management (2024). My external experience
includes being a member of the Office for Students Quality Improvement
Committee; an accreditation panel member for the Association of MBAs; an
external examiner for the Durham University; and a Member of the Parochial
Church Council of St Peters, Halliwell. I have also held strategic leadership
roles as a Non-executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of Bolton at Home.
