Educator/Psychologist. Chilean Educational Innovation Specialist. Bachelor in Psychology (Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile) and Master in Education, Public Policy and Equity (MSc, University of Glasgow, UK, with Distinction), alongside various professional training accreditations and diplomas from other institutions such as Universidad de Chile (Chile), Columbia University (USA), Univeristy College London´s Institute of Education (UK), University of Texas at San Antonio (USA), Creative Education Foundation (USA), Icesi Univesity (Colombia), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), Inter-American Development Bank and the Instituto Andaluz de Tecnología (Spain).

Currently, he acts as Director of the Center for Education Innovation and Faculty member at the Universidad Mayor. Also, Cristian acts as external Associate Educational Advisor at the Universidad Católica del Norte and Universidad de Antofagasta (Chile), Project Coordinator (and Co-founder) at the Education, Public Policy and Equity Network (UK), Senior Consultant at Universidad de Magallanes and Fundación Entrepreneur, and an independent International Education Consultant for different universities, educational institutions and government authorities in Latin America. Formerly, General Coordinator and Senior Education Specialist in the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC/FAU) at Universidad de Chile (Chile) and Director of Projects at Universidad Católica del Norte.

He has trained school teachers and university faculties from Chile, Peru, Spain, Colombia, United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Honduras, and has been participated as speaker and educational expert in seminars and workshops in Chile, Peru, Finland, Colombia, Uruguay, United States, Costa Rica, Spain, Guatemala and Mexico. He has participated in professional and international exchanges in Finland, France, United Kingdom, Brazil, United States, Colombia, Denmark and Spain.
