
Dr. Daisy Andal Dimaano-Maghirang is a seasoned human resources and external affairs professional with over 20 years of experience in administration, education, and institutional development. She currently serves as External Affairs Program Specialist and part-time Associate Professor III at the University of Batangas. Her previous roles include HR Manager at an international company group in Qatar and Administration Analyst at the same university. A Ph.D. in Business Management, Dr. Maghirang is a Certified Human Resource Associate, Registered Psychometrician, and Licensed Professional Teacher. She is also an award-winning researcher, published author, ISO internal auditor, and active leader in national HR and education organizations.
Dr. Daisy Andal Dimaano-Maghirang, RPm, LPT, CHRA is a seasoned human resource and external affairs professional with over two decades of extensive experience in human resource management, administration, institutional planning, and academic engagement. She currently serves as an External Affairs Program Specialist at the University of Batangas, where she facilitates initiatives in institutional linkages, collaborations, internationalization, and project development. She previously held key positions including Administration Analyst and Assistant HRD Officer in the same institution, and an HR Manager at an international group of companies in Qatar, contributing significantly to policy formulation, organizational development, and strategic planning
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management from the University of Batangas, and multiple master's degrees including Master in Public Administration, Master in Business Administration, and academic completion of Master in Psychology. She is also a Certified Human Resource Associate, a Licensed Professional Teacher, and a Registered Psychometrician.
Beyond her administrative roles, Dr. Maghirang is a passionate educator, an Associate Professor III at the University of Batangas, teaching both business and psychology courses. She is a published researcher with multiple papers and one book to her name, including the award-winning publication “Batangas Economy: A Historical Overview and Contemporary Transformation.”
Dr. Maghirang is active in various professional organizations. She currently serves as President of Region IV for the Asian Association of School HRMD Practitioners, Inc. (AASHPI), after holding multiple leadership roles in the organization since 2015. She is also a member of several national and international professional bodies including the Psychological Association of the Philippines and Ascendens Asia International Researchers Club.
A dedicated public speaker, researcher, and institutional strategist, Dr. Maghirang continues to be a driving force in human capital development and international education initiatives in the region.
