
Daniela Hidalgo is an academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Urban and Rural Planning, a Master’s degree in Architecture, and a background as a licensed architect. She has collaborated with renowned international firms such as MGE Architects (Miami, USA) and completed an internship at Kengo Kuma and Associates (Beijing, China). Daniela previously served as the Academic Director of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), where she currently holds the position of Director of Quality and Global Standards at the Vice-Rectorate of Academic Affairs. Additionally, she serves as an advisor to City Space Architecture, a global academic network based in Bologna, Italy. Daniela has led numerous research projects focused on sustainable architecture and urbanism, with her work published in indexed journals, academic conferences, and edited volumes.
