With 20+ years’ experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership across Brazil, Germany, and the UAE, and certified in AACSB, ABET, and Lean Six Sigma, I specialize in QA, accreditation, institutional effectiveness, AI & Data Analytics, sustainability, and ESG/GHG compliance. As an active IEEE and INNS member and journal reviewer, I advance innovation, research excellence, and strategic impact in higher education.

I hold a B.S.E.E, a Master in Industrial Informatics, and a Ph.D. in Computer with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. I hold certifications in AACSB program assessment, AACSB conducting benchmarking, ABET Fundamentals of Program Assessment, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Kansas University.

I have 20+ years of experience in teaching and research in neural networks, image processing, and pattern recognition, in Brazil, Germany, and the UAE. I combine extensive and in-depth expertise in neural networks and deep learning, quality assurance, program assessment, design and assessment of learning outcomes, curriculum design, academic accreditation, strategic planning, process improvement, and lean Six Sigma.

With over 20 years of academic management, teaching and research, across three continents, I bring a wealth of expertise in academic quality assurance and accreditation, institutional effectiveness, institutional research, planning and policies, sustainability, AI and Data Analytics, to advance educational excellence. I have a proven track record of delivering GHG/ESG emissions reporting and compliance, quality assurance, institutional effectiveness frameworks, developing strategic planning and policies, impactful risk management strategies, and integrating sustainability metrics into strategic frameworks to align with global and national goals.

As an active member of IEEE, the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, the IEEE Education Society, and the International Neural Networks Society, I contribute to advancing education, research and innovation. I serve as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences, including the IEEE International Joint Conference on Neural Networks, IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, and IEEE Frontiers in Education. I have also reviewed publications for Springer, reflecting my commitment to promoting excellence in research.
