Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1981, is mother of Amelie and married to Christian.
She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Communication.
She was selected by the Government of the United States of America as a fellow in the Women Leaders in Science and Technology program of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP). She represented Ecuador among a group of 45 women leaders from around the world.
She served as Rector of ECOTEC University, an institution where she has worked since its founding and where she has held the positions of Academic Vice-Rector, Dean, Associate Dean, and Faculty Coordinator of Marketing and Communication.
Between 2013 and 2018, she was President of the Latin American Association of University Programs in Public Relations (ALACAURP).
She is an international peer reviewer and accreditor for EQUAA (Education Quality Accreditation Agency).
She currently leads the Guayaquil Campus, one of ECOTEC University's strategic development projects.
Her work has focused on youth development through higher education, with innovation and internationalization as cross-cutting pillars.
