Glos Ho is the Director of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes and a Principal Lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). She is the former Associate Head of the Department of Marketing at HKBU and has extensive experience in inter- and transdisciplinary pedagogy and innovation. In her current role, she established the pedagogical framework for HKBU’s flagship transdisciplinary course, Global Challenges I/II, as well as the Global Transdisciplinary Students-as-Partners Integration Project, which aims to empower student growth and well-being through student-staff partnerships. Dr. Ho holds a BSocSci in Economics from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Arts in International Communications from Macquarie University, and a PhD in Asian Studies from the University of Hong Kong. She is currently a Senior Fellow of Advance Higher Education and was awarded an Olympic postgraduate scholarship at the Olympic Studies Centre in Switzerland in 2005. She has served as the Reviews Editor for the Asia Pacific Journal of Sport and Social Science (2012-2018). Dr. Ho received the HKBU President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Individual Teaching in 2016, for Team Teaching in 2018 and 2023 and Faculty Award for Excellent Performance in Service in 2022. She also founded a Community of Practice (CoP) named TransdiscipliLink in 2024 to promote transdisciplinary collaboration in Hong Kong.
