Hidayat Abu Elhawa is an academic instructor at Al-Istiqlal University in Palestine. She teaches basic and major English courses. She recently obtained her PhD  in TESOL from the University of Nicosia. Hidayat is interested in e-learning , emergency remote teaching and generative AI. She has published several publications in teaching and learning with technology focusing on marginalised and under-presented areas like the state of Palestine
