I am an Electrical Engineer with years of experience in the power generation industry, particularly in hydroelectric plant operations, maintenance, and planning. Currently, I serve as a faculty member at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), where I teach Industrial Motor Control, Process Automation, Statistics, and Calculus, while actively engaging in research and mentoring students.
I earned my Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Central Mindanao University and am now pursuing my PhD in Energy Engineering at USTP. My research centers on energy sustainability, particularly in the design and development of renewable hybrid systems, techno-economic analysis of renewable energy technologies, and innovative electrification solutions for off-grid communities. Beyond research, I am deeply committed to the sustainability of education, ensuring that knowledge and skills in renewable energy and technology are passed on to empower future engineers and equip communities with long-term solutions.
As a judge for Reimagine 2025, I bring together my industry experience, academic expertise, and passion for sustainability—both in energy and in education—to evaluate and support innovations that can drive meaningful change.
