Jeremy is a serial entrepreneur and business angel having founded businesses in EdTech, assistive technology, Biotech and a range of financial services businesses over the last 40 years. He has been actively involved in the assistive technology industry for almost 20 years providing enabling technology solutions for individuals who are hard of hearing and for those with learning disabilities. 

Habitat Learn was founded in 2014 by Jeremy and Daniel Goerz. Habitat Learn was formally incorporated in 2019 merging the two entities and starting the development of an AI driven SaaS platform for note taking, captioning and generative AI student support called Messenger Pigeon. Messenger Pigeon supports over 100,000 students at 500+ universities and colleges across North America.

Jeremy heads a research team at Habitat Learn which has been awarded 14 UK, Scottish and Canadian grants to develop novel AI and ASR solutions for education. This research has resulted in numerous patent applications being filed.

Jeremy is Board Member and Treasurer of the Assistive Technology Industry Association and Sponsor of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology which lobbies Government and institutions on disability support.

Jeremy was Master of The Worshipful Company of Feltmakers of the City of London in 2016-17 and chaired their charity committee for four years.
