Dr. Khaled Eskaf is a visionary academic leader, researcher, and innovator in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Intelligent Systems. He currently serves as Dean of the College of Informatics at MidOcean University, where he also holds the title of Full Professor of Intelligent Systems.
With more than two decades of experience across academia, research, and industry, Dr. Eskaf has built a distinguished career marked by leadership, innovation, and impact. He is also the Founder & CEO of Canadian Intelligent Technology (CiTech), a pioneering company that empowers innovation through intelligent technology, providing training, consultation, and next-generation AI and robotics solutions.
Dr. Eskaf’s academic journey has taken him through prestigious roles, including Head of Department, and Quality Assurance Leader at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), before moving into global higher education leadership. His expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Computer Vision, Quantum Computing, and Educational Technology, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and conference papers to his credit.
As a mentor, Dr. Eskaf has supervised MSc and PhD students, guiding them toward impactful research and practical innovation. He has also secured international grants from industry leaders like Unity 3D and Intel, as well as regional science foundations, underlining his success in building bridges between academia and industry.
Beyond research and leadership, Dr. Eskaf is passionate about STEM education and youth empowerment. Through CiTech and university initiatives, he has trained thousands of students in AI, robotics, and programming, organized robotics competitions, and inspired young innovators across Canada, the Middle East, and beyond.
